Review by Oladunni O.

I am THAT online shopper. Don't look at me like that, it can't be helped :D. I've visited so many online stores that I've lost count. Window shopping is usually my best forte though. If I spent money every time I went online.....

So I've shopped on Jumia,Taafoo, Shopaholicng, & Brandnubians, to mention a few. Shopping on Jumia is so far my best so I'm going to base my review on it.

You're probably wondering why Jumia's my best...

1) It opened me up to online shopping
2) The shopping was so easy and convenient; their website is easily accessible on mobile phones too
3) Advertised quick delivery: 3-5 business days (now I've learned this isn't always the case)
4) Competitive prices

My first experience went thus: I logged on to the website, created a profile, searched and searched (this not been helped by the quality of network service in Nigeria), found the perfect dress, decided to buy it after weighing the pros and cons and getting the opinion of my friends, chose the pay on delivery option, completed my purchase and signed off.

I felt good with myself. I was buying something online! Although, along with my joy came uncertainty but thankfully they couldn't run away with my money... I hadn't paid! *smart me* The dress cost #8,000. #8,000!! It was a birthday present to myself.

Then came time for delivery *sigh* The dress came in 8 days after it was scheduled to arrive. I was livid! I mean, who does that? As expected, their representative was full of apologies when I called to complain. Typical Nigerian. Oh well. That didn't stop me from going back to Jumia.

The consequent purchases were easier thank God:

My 2nd purchase was 3 tops ( for myself, my mum and my sister). By the way, I'm a nice person if I may say so myself. The tops cost N4000, N4500 and N3500 respectively.

My 3rd purchase was a Daggett and Ramsdell body lotion which cost N1,200. The delivery came on time and I used the POS machine :D

My last so far purchase was an HP back to school laptop bundle which cost #81,195. The bundle consisted of an HP 655 AMD Dual core laptop, a desk jet printer, an HP notebook carry case and Life earphones. Pretty good buy!!!

I can say I've spent a great deal of my money on Jumia and its all been worth it. My dad is still pretty skeptical about the whole online shopping business but I'm winning him over gradually.

For online shoppers who want convenience, quality and efficiency, Jumia is your guy (I'm a great advertiser too) :D

In this case, this review is more detailed than the first, thus we decided to put this up as a post of it's own...
