Review provided by NGI was at Cafe Royal with a couple of my girls this Saturday and it was all roses till we saw the bill…lol. Back to the beginning of my experience though, I was truly impressed by how beautiful and lively Cafe Royal is! I love the way it is decorated with a beautiful bar at the entrance and aquarium. Not only is it classy, but the service we received was superb!

The food was great but somewhat expensive with main dishes selling at three thousand naira (#3,000) and upward and sandwiches at two thousand naira (#2,000) and upward! The drinks were really lovely. The only fault was in the preparation because everyone in the cafe could hear the blender and every instrument used to make it. Nevertheless all the drinks we ordered tasted really good and well made!

Cafes are always a nice place to enjoy air conditioned comfortable rooms, internet and free power outlets! Well, nothing less could be expected from Cafe Royal. Although more power outlets would have given this cafe an extra star (the few they had were not located by the seats).
The cafe also has an outdoor area which I think is brilliant! And gives it more versatility when compared to its competitors! All together it was a beautiful experience and I will definitely go again alone or otherwise (but with much more cash).
