Cata Spa

Fast forward a couple weeks later and I was in a ghastly motor accident on my way to work. I was in serious pains so my twinnes mum offered me a spa session at Cata Spa. My twinne accompanied me and it was heavenly, serene and very clean. The space smelt lovely and the swimming pool was virtually calling my name.

The Thai beauty therapist was an extremely nice lady. She seemed to have a lot of experience and knew exactly what she was doing. However, I don't think she understood the English I spoke. I was telling her about the accident and she was smiling. I just kept quiet after a while. She ended up prescribing a pain relieve massage and it was superb! All the oils she used were made with natural products and were quite soothing. There was also calm and classic music playing in the background - it was so magical. My massage lasted for 30 minutes and it was well worth it.

After the massage I had a bath and went back to the spa lounge. We were offered some amazing tea - something fruity with honey. Till date I'm still searching for the tea! I took a tour of the entire place; the gym was well equipped, the restaurant and the seat out looked good. The environment is really inviting.

If you stay on the mainland - or not - you should check this place out. Facials cost between 5k-6k and massages 5k-10k. They also offer a "couples massage" *wink*. I highly recommend this spa and will be going back soon.
