I think I've been bad this holiday. I've eaten all sorts but have been good about steering clear of sugar..until some days ago!
I wanted Waffles and Ice cream and honestly couldn't think of anywhere else in Lekki I could get that combo. So I called up Ice cream factory to confirm they'd have it and they did! Btw that's how I figured they deliver too (because the attendant thought I wanted to place an order for delivery).
Overall, I'll highly recommend their Waffles and Ice cream combo (Waffles cost 700 naira and each scoop of Ice cream is about 350 naira).
As a side note, 2 different people on different occasions mentioned to me that the Ice cream factory location in VI is a bit rundown. "It's like they moved all their resources to the Lekki location" were their words exactly. If that's the case it's pretty sad. A flagship store should continue to maintain/improve standards in order to retain customers (esp. those who have been loyal). I'd encourage management to take a look at this situation and do something...the brand is not "Ice cream factory VI" or "Ice cream factory Lekki"...It's Ice cream factory, period! Service in both locations should be consistent to ensure customers are getting the proper "Ice cream factory experience".
